Past Editorials - June 2007

It has been a difficult month for FABP and the Beatitudes community. We suffered the loss of one of our very own, Angel Nieva. I haven't known Angel as long as most of you have, but the past 3 years have given me a glimpse into the kind of person that he was. If more people had an ounce of the dedication that Angel had for his family, church, and friends, this world would be a better place. I have wonderful memories of the last 3 Simbang Gabi masses that he helped coordinate, the jokes shared at the Filipino booth during festival, and most recently the advice and assistance he's provided me as Editor of this newsletter and as festival co-chair. Please share your Angel stories with Angel's family. They will appreciate hearing from you. Let's keep his memory alive! God Bless! Cecile :)
